Peer Review Process

WICAKSANA: Jurnal Lingkungan dan Pembangunan uses a conventional double blind review policy, namely the reviewer's name is always kept confidential from the author submitting the manuscript. Authors must present the manuscript honestly without engineering, falsification, plagiarism, or inappropriate data manipulation. The manuscript review process usually takes 8 to 16 weeks. The duration of this review depends on the length of time spent by the editor and reviewer in reviewing the manuscript. The stages of the review process applied in WICAKSANA: Jurnal Lingkungan dan Pembangunan are as follows:

  • Submission of manuscripts. This process is only carried out online, namely OJS WICAKSANA: Jurnal Lingkungan dan Pembangunan on the website: https://www.ejournal.warmadewa.ac.id/index.php/wicaksana/
  • The submitted manuscript will be checked whether it is in accordance with the writing guidelines and submission format of WICAKSANA: Jurnal Lingkungan dan Pembangunan, and whether the manuscript is in accordance with the focus and scope of the journal. If appropriate, the next process will be carried out, and if not, we recommend that the manuscript be submitted to another journal. The editorial team of WICAKSANA: Jurnal Lingkungan dan Pembangunan will immediately notify you via email.
  • The manuscript will be checked with Turnitin (similarity check). If the similarity level of the manuscript is more than 20%, the manuscript will be rejected at the desk evaluation stage. This decision is entirely the prerogative of the editor-in-chief and cannot be contested.
  • The manuscript will be reviewed by the appointed editor to determine whether the manuscript makes a sufficient contribution to the development of science and practice in the fields of accounting and investment. Manuscripts that meet the requirements at this stage will proceed to the review stage by two peer reviewers (both external and internal reviewers).
  • Manuscripts that are accepted with revisions (minor or major) will contain comments from peer reviewers and will be returned to the author for revision. Referring to the policy of WICAKSANA: Jurnal Lingkungan dan Pembangunan, reviewers only provide suggestions on whether the manuscript is accepted or rejected. Meanwhile, the final decision on whether or not the manuscript is accepted is in the hands of the editor and editor-in-chief.
  • The author is given a maximum of 2 weeks to revise the manuscript. Manuscripts that have undergone final revision and are accepted by the editor will be published in WICAKSANA: Jurnal Lingkungan dan Pembangunan in the edition determined by the editor-in-chief. Authors can ask the editor-in-chief whether they want to publish their articles in a certain edition (volume and number). For that, authors must submit an application to the editor-in-chief of WICAKSANA: Jurnal Lingkungan dan Pembangunan.
