Pemeriksaan Mata, Komposisi Tubuh, dan Tingkat Kemandirian Lansia di Rumah Usiawan Panti Surya Surabaya

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat di Rumah Usiawan Panti Surya Surabaya dilaksanakan untuk memberikan gambaran menyeluruh mengenai kondisi kesehatan lansia melalui pemeriksaan mata, pengukuran komposisi tubuh, dan penilaian tingkat kemandirian. Kegiatan pengabdian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model pelayanan kesehatan lansia berbasis komunitas yang berkelanjutan dan dapat direplikasi di panti usiawan lainnya. Dari 44 partisipan, sebanyak 30 lansia (68.2%) ditemukan mengalami gejala mata kering ringan hingga sedang, sedangkan 14 lansia (31.8%) memiliki kondisi normal. Pada aspek komposisi tubuh, 65.9% lansia memiliki persentase lemak tubuh di atas batas normal, sementara 34.1% berada dalam kategori ideal. Penurunan massa otot juga ditemukan pada sebagian besar partisipan, yang menunjukkan adanya risiko sarkopenia sebagai masalah kesehatan yang perlu diatasi. Sebagai tindak lanjut, lansia diberikan edukasi mengenai pentingnya hidrasi yang cukup, asupan nutrisi seimbang, olahraga ringan, serta kebiasaan sehat untuk meredakan gejala mata kering dan menjaga massa otot. Hasil kegiatan ini menegaskan bahwa masalah kesehatan lansia bersifat multidimensional dan saling berkaitan, sehingga diperlukan pendekatan holistik yang mencakup pemeriksaan rutin, intervensi gizi, aktivitas fisik, serta dukungan sosial.
